Here are links to pictures I've taken of models I've built. Building models was the proverbial "boyhood hobby" of mine starting

         when I was eight years old or so. I kept it up fairly steadily until the age of 18 or so, then other things caught my attention. Over

         the years I built a model here, one there but nothing consistent. Then, about five years ago, I wasn't able to work because of major

         back problems. I had two chairs I could sit in for extended periods of time: one was a recliner and the other is my computer chair.

         I was able to roll the computer chair to a table and sit there to work on models. Nowadays I'm able to sit at the coffee table, watch

         TV and work on models. Winter is when I do the most of my building since I can sit right in front of the fire while I work. It's almost

         medieval in one way......sitting in front of the fire while the wind howls outside etc., etc.
